The Uni-Dyne® Treater With Installed Power Density Control

The Corotec Power Density Control (PDC) system is one of our company's most popular options, and it is selected by most of our customers because it virtually eliminates operator guesswork during job setup, while ensuring consistent treatment levels and product quality, regardless of changes in line speed, web width, or material. Guesswork is no longer a factor in treater setup because of the process variables that have been eliminated.

Of course, the PDC system is a very popular option with Corotec Uni-Dyne® customers as well, but in the past the PDC system was only available supplied in a separate external enclosure due to size limitations.

Now, This Is No Longer the Case!

All Corotec Uni-Dyne systems can now be supplied with the PDC system installed right in the power supply module, thereby eliminating the last remaining installation hurdle. With the Corotec Uni-Dyne system, you get a complete, totally pre-wired corona treating system with the most desired features and options – all you add is power! What could be simpler or easier?

Change From Conventional to Bare-Roll at the Flip of a Switch

Now, switching from a conventional to a bare-roll configuration has been made even simpler. The new electrode switch is available as standard equipment on all new Corotec convertible treating systems, and the electrode switch can be retrofitted to virtually all existing Corotec equipment, including both the narrow-web and the wide-web systems. Simply move the switch from "Plastic" (conventional) to "Foil" (bare-roll) and the system is ready to run.

The Corotec convertible corona treating system was the first system to offer both conventional and bare-roll treating capability in a single treating station. This system enabled treatment of virtually any material at maximum efficiency and the highest attainable dyne levels. To change a configuration on these original systems, the electrode wire had to be moved from one electrode to the other, which required a brief period of downtime. Now, even manual wire changes have been eliminated with the new electrode switch.
