Corona Systems - CPT Series
Choose the power supply that's right for your treating application.
CPT Series
Processors who don't need all the features of our other power supplies can get the same high-frequency/ high-efficiency performance as the HFT Series, and the same power ratings and compact size of the LCT Series, in a special low-priced unit.

High Frequency + High Efficiency = High Performance

All of our power supplies are capable of operation at frequencies as high as 40 kHz, offering important advantages over low-frequency systems:

Compact Size: To achieve a given output power, our high-frequency systems require less output kVA than low-frequency systems. This translates to higher efficiency in the output high voltage transformer and smaller overall size for the entire system.

Longer Dielectric Life: Higher frequency reduces peak voltages at the electrode, resulting in less stress on the dielectric material bonded to the treater roll (or to the electrode in bare-roll systems).

Higher Quality Product: High frequency generates lower voltages across the treated material, reducing static buildup and inconsistent treatment due to material wrinkling or lifting from the roll. Metallized webs are less prone to pinholing and metal "blow-off" when treated with our low-voltage, high-frequency systems.
