Choose the power supply that's right for your treating application.
![]() Select the full-sized, full-featured HFT power supply for a broad range of corona treating applications, the compact LCT Series specifically designed for narrow web, or the low-cost CPT line for maximum economy.
All of our systems generate an efficient high-frequency/low-voltage corona that's your assurance of high-quality surface treating with reduced downtime due to dielectric failure, high-voltage arc-over, or burn-through.
HFT Series: Setting the Standard in Corona Discharge Power With years of successful operation in a host of challenging applications, our HFT Series units deliver rated power into a wide range of electrode widths and configurations, as well as various dielectric materials and thicknesses. Constant output voltage and our Power Density Control System ensure precise, consistent treatment, regardless of web width, treat levels, line speeds, or materials.
Standard Features Include:
All of our power supplies are capable of operation at frequencies as high as 40 kHz, offering important advantages over low-frequency systems:
Compact Size: To achieve a given output power, our high-frequency systems require less output kVA than low-frequency systems. This translates to higher efficiency in the output high voltage transformer and smaller overall size for the entire system.
Longer Dielectric Life: Higher frequency reduces peak voltages at the electrode, resulting in less stress on the dielectric material bonded to the treater roll (or to the electrode in bare-roll systems).
Higher Quality Product: High frequency generates lower voltages across the treated material, reducing static buildup and inconsistent treatment due to material wrinkling or lifting from the roll. Metallized webs are less prone to pinholing and metal "blow-off" when treated with our low-voltage, high-frequency systems.
